I chuckled this week when I read (in the Mail) how many people had stencilling on a wall in their house. If my memory serves me right I can remember my parents were really into stencilling swirly flowers with ruched blinds - remember them!
Well now stencilling and rag rolling effects on neutral walls and been named the most tastless home design in the last 20 years! Runner up to horrible fads include mirrored wardrobes which were popular in the 90s and I am sure there are still many homes with these fitted in!
